今回は英検１級２０２４年度過去問３回分を解いてみた感想を書いていこうと思います。
というのも英検1級本試験が6月1日なのでね。
まず初めは最新の２０２４年度３回目、２０２５年１月２６日実施分から解いてみました。
リーディングはしっかり時間を測って解いたので要約問題や英作文は、見直す余裕がなく下手くそです。
加えてperprexity先生に英検１級基準で採点してもらってます。

スペルミス、文法誤り、内容が矛盾するなど多数あるが、これが現状の実力。
さてさて６月１日の英検１級本番に向けてどこまで足掻けるか？

Wild animal’s body parts such as fangs or horns are taken from their body, and these parts are modified to expensive products. Originally, these valuable goods are traded in bricks-mortars stores for decades. However, due to rapid growth of the Internet, the demand of such products has been increasing recently. Since wild animals are living in developing countries, they have high risks to be captured or killed. While these valuable creatures are the main source of the revenue for local residents, they reluctantly accepted these activities. Governments strictly crack down on illegal hunting though, some animals move their habitat areas for their survivability, which results in terrible consequences.

など、本文の重要な要素が十分に反映されていません。
構成（Organization）：4/8
全体の流れはありますが、論理展開や段落ごとの要点整理がやや不十分です。特に「地元住民がしぶしぶ受け入れている」という表現は本文の主旨（観光収入の減少によりコミュニティが打撃を受ける）とずれがあります。
語彙（Vocabulary）：4/8
基本的な語彙は使えていますが、”bricks-mortars stores”（正しくは “brick-and-mortar stores”）や “the demand of such products”（正しくは “the demand for such products”）など不自然な表現が複数見られます。
文法（Grammar）：4/8
意味は伝わりますが、”Wild animal’s body parts”（複数形にするなら “Wild animals’ body parts”）、”modified to expensive products”（”into”が必要）、”for their survivability”（不自然な表現）、”they reluctantly accepted these activities”（主語が曖昧）など文法的な誤りがいくつかあります。
合計：16/32点
英作文
Is freedom of the news media beneficial to society?
Some people say that freedom of the news media is beneficial for knowing the truth. However, I disagree with the idea that freedom of the media is beneficial to society. Mass media often broadcast misinformation or disinformation, biased information will deviate individual’s decision making for some critical issues, and influenced people might end up committing a serious crime, and it is harmful for juvenile education.
First, if we allow the news media to act freely, they will cover misinformation or disinformation to citizens. For example, when an election is upcoming, the media should introduce all of the candidates. However, they often neglect to do so, which is very important information for the voters. As a result, only highlighted candidates pass the election. This is clearly disadvantage for both non-highlighted candidates and citizens.
Second, media companies broadcast biased information periodically. It sometime negatively affects individuals. In 2022, former prime minister Shinzo Abe was assassinated by a maliciously influenced person who claims that Shinzo Abe has supported a criminal religious group. This tragedy could have been avoided, if biased information had not aired.
Last, freedom of the news media will harm children’s moral significantly. For instance, violent or sexual contents can be broadcasted at their own discretion. Since young people are vulnerable to be influenced such sensitive contents easily, they might end up committing a serious crime.
In conclusion, governments and lawmakers should regulate laws in order to tighten the media coverages.

内容（Content）：6/8
主張が明確で、3つの理由も具体的です。ただし、「なぜメディアの自由が一般的に重要とされるか」や反対意見への配慮があるとさらに高評価。
構成（Organization）：5/8
序論・本論・結論の流れは守られています。パラグラフごとのつながりや展開がやや単調です。トピックセンテンスや結論のまとめ方を工夫するとより良くなります。
語彙（Vocabulary）：5/8
必要な語彙は使えていますが、やや表現が単調で、不自然な言い回しも見られます。もう少し多様な語彙や言い換えを使うと高評価。
文法（Grammar）：5/8
基本的な文法はできていますが、冠詞や前置詞、単数・複数のミスが目立ちます。複雑な文構造や正確な文法が増えるとさらに良いです。
合計：21/32点
